Home-made gift exchange

It's been over a week since I threw this party, but I've been busy so here's the scoop....

I made and decorated some delicious sugar cookies, and some fudge, yum!

I made this necklace with some earings

and this bracelet with some earings.....had to make sure everyone went home with something.

I was really excited to see all the effort that went into everyone's gifts, let me tell you what everyone went home with:

Top Row: reversible apron, necklace/earings, home-made caramel sauce and towel, wreath, platter

Bottom: beanie and santa, fifties apron, beanie, bracelet/earings, and I got these really great button covered earings- LOVE THEM!

It was really fun and I hope it will become a yearly tradition!

ESPN bonding time

Brooks has really grown attached to his daddy. Whenever he comes home from work Brooks lights up with a big smile and reaches for him to pick him up. Whenver Stephen is home Brooks prefers to be held by his daddy, unless he's tired or hungry and then he just wants mommy to comfort him- or get him a snack! We're both so glad when daddy comes home and we all look forward to the weekends when we can hang out all day together- especially our family Sunday afternoon naps. We're so grateful for all the hard work Stephen does for our family and thankful that he has a job that provides for all of our needs.....and most of our wants too!

Star sightings!

So this is Rose Byrne and Glenn Close taping a scene for the TV show Damages.....never seen or heard of it, but apperently it's popular.

I couldn't get a good picture because the set nazis wouldn't let us use our flash and I don't know how to NOT get a blurry photo when my flash is off- any advice greatly appreciated.

Big E came for a visit so we strolled the streets of China town, Little Italy, Financial District, Battery Park, rode the Staten Island Ferry, saw a Knicks game, walked through Times Square, and saw lots of famous people....

including this guy.....
apparently he's an actor-model and his hobby is taking pictures with girls on the Staten Island Ferry while wearing a sailor shirt. we've all got our quirks.

Friends and Pumpkins

So I put Cohen in the high chair for snack time and I turned my back to do something and Brooks was on his tip-toes stealing cheerios from him! I thought it was so funny and cute so I ran to grab my camera.... and here they are munchin away together!
Here they are up to no good messing with the pots and pans, after a while I stopped trying to get them to play with toys and just let them have at it.

Here we are on our hay ride, headed out to pick our pumpkins, it was really bumpy and Brooks would give a little giggle every once in a while.

This was my attempt at getting a cute fall picture, he was not into smiling that day.

Here we are with OUR pumpkin....it spoke to us from across the field and it is perfect!

(by the way my arms are killing me- I didn't really think about how I was going to carry a nearly 20 pound boy and an 8 pound pumpkin....and my 10 pound purse....all at once, yikes!)

Let's just be honest-

I had to change the name of the blog because we all know that no-one really cares what Stephen and I are doing, it really is ALL About Brooksie Bob!
and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Rubber Ducky your'e the one....

....you make Bath Time SO much FUN!

Brooks loves to splish splash in his ducky tub, it even quacks when you squeeze its beak.

He can't get enough bath time, sometimes he'll crawl into the bathroom and peak over the tub to say Hi to ducky and then he gets upset when I pick him up and he doesn't get to take a bath.
