IT'S A BABY GIRL

I was in shock for sure, but very HAPPY none the less!
Brooks really has NO clue, but he seemed excited anyway!

pointing at the "baby"- which he can say every now and again but has no idea what it means.....poor guy will soon find out.

We found out Monday the 22nd that we will be having a baby girl! The due date is still August 14th. We are very excited and have a couple of names picked out. The doctor said that the baby is about 9 ounces in these pictures. Only 20 more weeks until she gets here. The countdown can begin. Brooksie is also very excited to have a little sister. He is going to be a great Big Brother.

Central Park Zoo

So the weather has FINALLY been nice and warm so we've been keeping busy outside as much as we can. Recently we visited Central Park Zoo. It's a cute, pint sized zoo- Just right for pregnant moms with toddlers. After a slooooow stroll through the zoo we wandered through the park and played at one of the many playgrounds. I didn't get any pics of my favorite spot in the city but we did hit up PINKBERRY!!! before we went home- if you haven't tried it yet you're really missing out.

Watching the Penguins zoom around, they came right up to us and just stared at us for a while.

It was so SUNNY and bright that I couldn't get him to look at the camera all day.

And then we found the lady! and we could feed her if we wanted.....ewww slimy, no thanks.

He was really nervous about it. This is the closest I've gotten to a belly shot lately, enjoy.

Brooks asked her if she wanted to go for a swing, of course she couldn't resist.

We had a great time strolling through the park and the city, can't wait to see and do some more things we haven't seen or done yet! And we're LOVING the sunshine!
