Christmas Photo Sesh

I am sitting here laughing out loud at some of these photos. There are way too many to post, but here are some of my faves!

Not sure exactly why, but this one makes me laugh the hardest!! prob because it just looks forced and uncomfortable.

This is my true "AWWWW" fave.

intermission.

"Yeah I know my chocolate mustache is cool, you're jealous."

I couldn't resist throwing this one up, this is how they really feel about having to take pics.

This is the best we got, seriously.

Cologne, Germany Christmas Markets

The largest market is held in the courtyard of this ENORMOUS old church. When it began to rain we ran into the church and walked around until it cleared up.

The Christmas Markets in Germany are the BEST! There are so many unique and interesting crafts and  TONS of delicious food vendors to choose from (and for us it's ALL about the food!). I don't know how I didn't snap any pictures of the what we ate but let me just tell you: A bratwurst on a beautiful bun, Fried fish bites with garlic sauce, Spinach strudel, a bite of seasoned mushrooms, roasted almonds and Ryan and Carrie ate a beautiful fruit strudel with cream.

There was this cute merry-go-round for the kiddos, and then we entertained them with lollies.

The kids loved these wooden puppet dolls.

Brooks thought this was a reindeer....it was a CHRISTMAS market after all.

Even the booths themselves were so ornate and beautiful, it was quite a sight to see. I'm so glad we were able to make the trek to Cologne to take in all the holiday cheer....and German yummies!!

Holland

We had so much fun playing with our cousins in Rotterdam, although it was slightly FREEZING outside!

While mommy and daddy were away we played! and made ginger bread houses! and stayed in our jammies ALL day long!

We went to Amsterdam one afternoon to visit the Anne Frank house that is now a very nice museum.

No pics allowed inside, so this is Stephen, Zo and Brooks standing outside the front door.

Iconic canal pic.

Zoey has become such a goof ball, she makes the best faces and says some pretty funny stuff.

Walking the streets- taking in the sights, shops, and smells of Amsterdam.

Carrie and I went on a quick getaway to Delft to see the pottery and find some fun souvenirs.

Then we all headed to see some windmills, did you know they are used to pump water out to clear out the land, well I didn't.

We had tons of fun with our cousins, hopefully we can make it back sometime when we can walk around without losing feeling in our fingers and toes!
