Office Baby Shower

Look at this amazing cake a lady in my office made...she is very artistic and talented as you can see. She even went to the trouble of using Brooks's colors on the "platter". This is me with all the loot, I swear there were a lot of people there but NO ONE would let me take a picture of them....except Kim (seen w/me below)

I can't believe I only have one more week of work left until who knows when, I have really enjoyed working at the AG's office and with all the great people here, I'm really going to miss it!

Temple Square

This angel Moroni is 2 feet SHORTER than the one placed on the Salt Lake Temple, amazing.

Temple lights....sort of. We were too late to see the temple grounds so this is outside of the conference center across the street.

A replica of the podium used in the conference center at the Pres. Hinckley display at the Church History Museum.

Christmas tree at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building

This is me at 29 weeks.....only 11 more to go!

Thanksgiving Extravaganza!

Thanksgiving Eve we went to the Jazz game with Stephen's parents, Merilee, Nikki, Spencer, and cousins Clinton and Alicia.

Korver wasn't playing that night due to a wrist injury....but he was looking dang good in that suit!

This is my cousin Tava and her adorable son Anderson....what a solid name!

Of course all the girls hanging out around the table....grazing on all the amazing goodies.

Of course the boys sitting on the couch watching football.

Me with some of my aunts and uncles.

This was the end of the Black Friday marathon at 6:00am.....it started at midnight at the outlet mall in Park City.

"SURPRISE" Baby Shower for Brooks!

So this past weekend Stephen and I headed over to Blackfoot to hang out with Ryan and Carrie and the fam while they were visiting for the weekend, we went up to Rexburg on Saturday for what I thought was a family luncheon at Ansley and TJ's....but when we showed up it was actually a surprise baby shower for me and Brooks! So shocked....I had no idea! EVERYONE was in on it, even my mom and no-one let it slip, AmaZing! It was awesome and we got a lot of really great things!

Beautiful table of goodies! I have such talented sisters-in-law! (You can see them hard at work in the kitchen)
Me and Donnalin- thanks for the baseball outfit!
This is me with an amazing quilt made by Merilee, Ansley, and Carly I believe....(sorry if I left someone out) and I'm about to open a basket of fun from Robyn- THANK YOU!

This is me with a gorgeous "diaper bag" from Carrie- THANK YOU!

Cute little booties from Melissa and her girls!

Sisters- Thank you so much for all your time and hard work, it was a great shower, fun was had by all!

Thanks mom for the cute stuff and the pack-n-play!

Stephen wanted me to be sure and tell everyone THANK YOU from him too!

We couldn't ask for more love and generosity from all of our family and friends!

We LOVE sushi!

Stephen and I went on a date on Friday night, just the two of us! I've really been wanting to spend some quality time with Stephen because he's been studying so much for the CPA and school that we really don't sit down together and hang out as much as we want to. We tried a new sushi place and we were a little nervous when we walked in and were the ONLY people in the restaurant and all the cooks were white guys. But the food was actually really good....don't worry I ate veggie rolls, but I was really jealous of Stephen's "raw roll", it looked amazing! After dinner we went to a Halloween party for some free dessert and then we went to the movies and saw "Hancock", not bad. Thanks for spending the night out with me it was really fun, I love you Stephen!

Happy Halloween

I love that Nikki and I always want to carve pumpkins for Halloween, but the boys really end up doing most if not all of the work.....what good troopers they are, thanks boys!
Nikki and I are just in charge of picking out the designs to carve, mine is the spider, Nikki went with "Boo" this year.

Here are the boys and their finished work, yes we let Kelan eat spiders.

the belly

Here are a couple of recent prego shots.....in this one I'm 23 weeks and I feel like I've just shot out like a blimp.

I think I'm almost 22 weeks in these pictures

Gettin crafty

This is my first project with my new sewing machine (my first sewing project EVER)!

-A crib blanket for the upcoming arrival of my baby boy.

In case you're wondering what the B is for- Stephen chose the name Brooks for our first son!

Hopefully the next project will be a little neater and the lines a little straighter, but not too bad for my first try!

Courtney and Mom came to visit!

I got Stephen to Line Dance!! Miracles do happen.....good times at the ward activity!

Courtney went through the temple for the first time on Saturday! She came all the way to Boise so that I could be there with her, it was so fun watching her and being a part of it! Love you Court!

Mom took us all out to the Melting Pot for my birthday/Courtney's special day....it was so fun..but next time we're going to bring a bag full of treats to dip in the chocolate, MMMMM!

Stephen surprised me with the sewing machine I've been wanting- Project Runway Editon!!

Check back soon for some crafty masterpieces......haha, I couldn't even thread the dang thing by myself!

Stephen is so creative, we didn't have wrapping paper so he cut up my glamour magazine- so cute! Thanks for all you do for me, I LOVE YOU BUD!

Bumps and Bruises

Stephen broke his collar bone a few days ago playing softball....needless to say he has been completely helpless for the past few days. Luckily he recently upgraded our cable to get the sports package so we never ran out of football games to watch. It was nice too that Robyn and Robert came for the weekend so the girls could take a break from the sports overload and do some serious shopping! He's feeling a lot better now, but there's not much they can do for a broken collar bone besides drug you up really good and tell you to put your arm in a sling. No more softball for a while though, darnit.
This weekend we hit 18 weeks, only two more weeks until they can confirm that it's a girl! (I know these pictures are so cliche but I can't help it....it still feels like this is just a dream and I have to see it to believe it!)
