Zoey Monster turned 1!

Zoey had a perfectly pink princess party, and she loved every bit of it!

Brooks and Kaydree were helping to take pics of the party guests.....

This was her actual Birth-day, the party was the day before, so we saved some presents for her to open on her real day. Thanks everyone for the cute clothes and toys!

Happy 4th of July!

I love all the faces in this one= squinty, scared, and lovin it!

We went out to Roanoke Rocks to enjoy some 4th of July fun, train rides, playgrounds, bounce houses, and free ice-cream sandwiches!


We had to wait patiently (at times not so patient) for over 45 minutes to ride the little train, but it was worth it when we got the last seat on the last ride of the night!

It parked for the night in the middle of the baseball field so all the kids could just climb around on it, we had to keep telling Brooks there was no conductor because he wanted it to GO.

She was a little scared by all the noise, we were right underneath them, really close to where they were being "blown up", hah.

The Greats in Larned

Stephen and I took the kids to go see some of their only living great grandparents, Afton's dad's parents, that live in Larned, Kansas. This was Stephen's first time to their house also. We spent the weekend eating great food, mostly cooked on the back-yard kitchen grill, and learning more about my grandparents and where they came from. It was so fun to see them and to see my kids doing the same things I used to do at their house when I was little.

She loves her dad!

She recently started waving, almost 11 months old.
