We were in NC for Easter weekend and we couldn't resist going to the Baptist Egg Hunt just down the street from my parent's house. I think it will be a new Easter tradition, those Baptist really know how to throw a good hunt- money eggs, prizes for all the kids, and hot dogs and treats for all the participants!
This was a pasture just behind the church, Brooks thinks those are really big dogs- he's really obsessed with dogs right now after playing with grandma's doggies all weekend. 
Then on actual Easter Sunday grandma set up a hunt just for us. Brooks had all his own eggs to find and Stephen and I had some too- finally I could get MY hunt on!
I got a head start because he was helping Brooks, but he ended up beating me anyway- just can't compete with all those years of training he's had.
With all our awesome loot. Grandma P's hunt will definitely have to be a new tradition also- eggs with gift cards in them really can't be beat!
By this hunt Brooks was an expert egg hunter/opener- he knew just what to do.
His eggs were filled with gold fish, cereal, and cars- PERFECT!

Easter was so fun! Thanks for a great time grandma and grandpa, can't wait to do it again next year!

Wow! Brooks is getting so big!! It's so fun to see what you've been up to. You're hair cut is way cute Afton! We miss you here in Idaho! Only 4 more weeks of school left for the kids and we've had snow twice this week!! That's Rexburg for ya :)
