We spent the last week, including the 4th of July, partying with friends at a beach house on the Jersey Shore. I definitely should have taken more pictures than I did....but I got some good ones of Brooks and his daddy spending some much needed quality time together. I know if Brooks could talk in sentences he would say "Dad is my favorite!"....but as they say actions speak LOUDER than words!

Brooks LOVES the beach, which is great when you spend 7 days straight there, but not when he likes to walk right out into the water with no fear or concept of drowning.
He is definitely a water baby, he can't get enough swimming.
unless Dad is playing with him and then he's perfectly content on the sand!
and after all that hard work it was time for a nap......

Cheyenne is the same way with water!! We go to the pool and she would just jump right in if we let her. When we try to hold her in the pool she just squirms and cries and tries to get away, it is so frustrating! We even tried to let her go a couple of times to scare her, but it didn't even phase her... she just choked on the water, caught her breath, and tried to get away again! Sounds like a fun little trip though!
Looks like a party!!! So 22 more days to go... crazy, crazy. We can't wait to meet Zoey.
