D.C.

On our way home from NC we stopped in D.C. to see uncle Billy and Aunt Lex, and we managed to squeeze a few of the major sights in too.
Sunset kisses.....love em!
Soul sisters

Spending some quality time with aunt Lex....we definitely don't get enough!
Love that uncle Billy (Dylan)!

We were looking for Idaho, but we stumbled upon Jersey first so we just went with it. I guess it is the birth-place of our Brooksie Bob (and our Zoey here soon), our poor kids will have to claim it- sorry.
He was in a particularly kissy & huggy mood that night- LOVE IT when I get a tight squeeze and an open mouth kiss!!

He was squeezing me- it makes me grin from ear to ear.

I guess we better start taking our family photos at night.....no squints from Dad or Brooks, yay!
We had so much fun in just a few short hours hanging out with some of our favorite people and I hope we make it back real soon, love you guys!

Fun at the park with Grams and Gramps

I love this face.
He really loves the slide these days.

More Egg Hunts

We were in NC for Easter weekend and we couldn't resist going to the Baptist Egg Hunt just down the street from my parent's house. I think it will be a new Easter tradition, those Baptist really know how to throw a good hunt- money eggs, prizes for all the kids, and hot dogs and treats for all the participants!

This was a pasture just behind the church, Brooks thinks those are really big dogs- he's really obsessed with dogs right now after playing with grandma's doggies all weekend.

Then on actual Easter Sunday grandma set up a hunt just for us. Brooks had all his own eggs to find and Stephen and I had some too- finally I could get MY hunt on!

I got a head start because he was helping Brooks, but he ended up beating me anyway- just can't compete with all those years of training he's had.

With all our awesome loot. Grandma P's hunt will definitely have to be a new tradition also- eggs with gift cards in them really can't be beat!

By this hunt Brooks was an expert egg hunter/opener- he knew just what to do.

His eggs were filled with gold fish, cereal, and cars- PERFECT!

Yummy treats mom and I devoured....I mean decorated.

Easter loot for Mr. Brooks.

Easter was so fun!
Thanks for a great time grandma and grandpa, can't wait to do it again next year!

No more B-Tizzle, now it's I-Fizzle!

All you Andersons out there know what I'm talking about!
Brooks and I were lucky enough to spend a week with grandma and grandpa in Idaho! It was so fun, minus the two days of pure torture spent at the airport(s)- NEVER fly United!! We drove up to the Burg and saw all the amazing up-grades they've made since I left, ofcourse we ate at Craigo's, YUM, and got our nails done at Evans, fabulous, and bought t-shirts to prove we were there!
In Idaho Falls I did some serious shopping- love DOWNEAST, ate at Wingers, went to the I.F. Temple- which is my favorite, and took in everything that beautiful I.F. has to offer.
Brooks had a great time and was sad to leave all of gram's toys and treats, me too!

Thanks aunt Mere for babysitting me and making sure I saw some diversity in Rexburg!

A great day of pampering- manis, pedis, AND facials- hence the make-up-free face.

Visiting grandma at her fun new job at the mall.

I was trying to get a pic of him in front of the Snake River sign, but his little friend wouldn't leave his side.

It isn't quite Easter without a crying picture with a Giant mangy bunny.

Out on the hunt with grandma.

This cute pic was taken before I tried to put him on the bunnies lap, my bad.

WHAT A STUD!!!

Luckily he's come around to being a momma's boy....well at least when dad is not around....so he did really well the whole trip, he's such a good little boy- I love him to pieces!
THANK YOU grandma and grandpa for a wonderful week in Idaho, can't wait to see you again really soon!
