St.Patrick's Day and Glendalough

I'm a little behind on this blogging thing, but anyway. St. Patrick's Day (don't call it Patty's day, that's offensive) fell on a Sunday this year so we did not attend the parade. We were told it's mostly Americans walking through claiming their Irishness, no big loss. But Saturday we went into town to enjoy all the street carnivals that are set up and eat some street food.

My mountain man.
Glendalough (Glendalock) is an abandoned monastic site up in the Wicklow Mountains, just west of Dublin.
Yes, it was freeeezing. We didn't stay long. But the drive was very beautiful with all the snow on the ground.
